Global Students Org (GSO)
GSO is a student organization committed to serving international students by meeting their practical, relational, and spiritual needs through tailored events. As a GSO member, you'll find a safe space and a sense of belonging 鈥 your home away from home. You'll connect on a regular basis with other members through dinners, Bible studies, and other activities.
Beyond these regular activities, GSO hosts many events throughout the year, focusing on fun, practical needs, and spiritual growth. Highlights include the GSO Olympics, where regions compete in outdoor games, a Christmas party, an international worship night, and a tax party (with music and snacks!) to help you file your taxes. Through these events, you'll strengthen the bonds you share with other international students, have your practical needs met, and grow spiritually. GSO primarily serves non-immigrant visa holders but also considers new members outside this category through a brief application process.

Young Americans Foundation (YAF)
Mission Statement: Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) is a conservative youth activism organization committed to promoting and preserving conservative principles. At Cedarville University, our Chapter integrates a Christian worldview with conservative political ideology, emphasizing the importance of political engagement within the Christian community.
Key Focus Areas:
- Advocating Biblical Principles and Values: Our YAF chapter is dedicated to promoting the gospel and embodying Christian values in the political arena. We aim to demonstrate the application of biblical principles in public policy and political discourse, fostering a community that loves God and others through political engagement.
- Promoting Conservative Principles: YAF champions the principles of limited government, individual liberty, free enterprise, strong national defense, and traditional American values. We seek to educate and inspire students to uphold these ideals in their personal and public lives.
- Critiquing Liberal Principles: The organization provides critical analysis of liberal ideologies, including government regulation, social welfare programs, critical race theory, and contemporary social movements often referred to as 鈥渨okeness.鈥 We encourage informed debate and discussion on these topics to promote a well-rounded understanding of political issues.
