That's it! After you've applied and completed the FAFSA, Cedarville will receive the results and notify you if more information is needed. Once properly completed, Cedarville will send you a financial aid offer. You'll receive an academic scholarship based on your application materials (residential students), and the FAFSA will help determine your need-based aid (all students). Beginning in January, you'll be notified of your aid offer.

Awards that require something in return in order for the student to receive funds, such as loans and student employment.
- Loans: Must be repaid according to the terms and conditions of each loan.
- Employment: The student works a job and is paid as part of student payroll for the hours worked. Wages are deposited directly into their bank account.
