September 25, 2024 — Cedarville University has sent its first cohort of physician assistants in training into the world to practice what they have learned in class. Completing clinicals under the supervision of physicians, these students are fulfilling their calling to care for the health needs of others while reflecting God’s love.

September 23, 2024 — Nursing students at Cedarville University are trained to treat injuries, save lives, and care for people in their nursing careers. This training includes the use of medical grade equipment, much like the stretcher that was recently donated by the Jefferson Township Fire Department in Jeffersonville, Ohio.

This was his reaction upon learning of the tragic loss of all his children in a single natural catastrophe. While few can truly comprehend the extent of Job’s sorrow, Daniel Foster and his wife Breeze have faced similar heartache.

September 18, 2024 — Excellence in biblical education is available to everyone through Cedarville University’s Bible Minor Project. For the past 71 years, every Cedarville graduate has completed a required Bible minor as part of their general education requirements. Now, this biblical education is available to anyone — including parents, school groups and churches — without a financial cost.

September 17, 2024 — Domestic abuse is estimated to affect 10 million people in the United States annually, meaning virtually every healthcare professional will treat or evaluate an abuse victim. This statistic highlights the importance of shining light on abuse as Domestic Violence Awareness Month approaches in October. On Thursday, Sept. 19, Cedarville University will host a panel discussion on “Domestic Abuse: Our Responsibilities as Christians in the Workplace.”

September 16, 2024 — Dr. Marcia Williams has taught in the Cedarville University School of Nursing since 2021. Her expertise in oncology, labor and delivery paired with her experience as the MSN clinical placement coordinator prepared her for a new role at Cedarville: associate dean and director of graduate programs.

September 13, 2024 — Meet Joel Misirian, a police officer whose journey began with a high school project in suburban Milwaukee, where he first discovered his passion for protecting and serving others. That one experience set Joel on a path that would shape his entire life and career.

September 11, 2024 — Cedarville University continues its trajectory of enrollment growth, with a record-breaking freshman class for the 2024-25 academic year. Cedarville enrolled 1,176 freshmen this fall, surpassing the previous record of 1,139 set two years ago.

September 11, 2024 — Excellence in effort is one of the core values at Cedarville University, so it is no surprise that three faculty and staff members received the 2023-24 Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) Excellence Award. Cedarville University SOCHE Award recipients this year are Dr. J. Michael McKay, associate professor of biblical theology, Tom Betcher, director of assessment and accreditation services and Rod Johnson, associate vice president of operations.

September 10, 2024 — The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy is partnering with Prasco Laboratories, the leading U.S. based pharmaceutical company to offer a novel work-study program where Cedarville’s pharmacy students can partner with Prasco’s call center to serve the community, hone their communication and problem-solving skills and learn about pharmacovigilance.

September 9, 2024 — The wisdom and mentorship of seven decades of real-world criminal justice experience among three faculty members is what sets Cedarville University’s criminal justice program apart from others in the country. This level of experience that is invested into each student is one of the reasons why Cedarville’s program is flourishing.

September 6, 2024 — Jonathan Wu brought Cedarville University’s “Bee” to life from 1994–98, long before Stinger was officially named in 2017. He danced, cheered, and electrified the crowd at basketball games, and his outgoing personality helps him today as he builds relationships wherever he goes.

September 4, 2024 — “Living in Babylon,” Answers in Genesis’ (AiG) successful biblical apologetics tour in Australia, is coming to America. AiG founder Ken Ham and Martyn Iles, AiG’s chief executive officer, will draw comparisons between life in ancient Babylon as seen in the biblical book of Daniel with life in today’s post-Christian world.

September 3, 2024 — Drawing from her personal journey and that of her daughter, Alyson Punzi has written a book, “He Always Hears,” with the hope of teaching young children the value and importance of lament.

September 3, 2024 — With family and friends in attendance, and a Cedarville University campus community cheering for Grace Norman at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, Norman won her second gold medal in her decorated Paralympic career on Sunday, Sept. 2.

September 2, 2024 — The bus tour is the first alumni trip hosted by Jackets for Life and is representative of its strategy to create alumni engagement and community. This specific trip will provide lifelong learning opportunities as the alumni re-connect through adventures in Washington D.C.

September 1, 2024 — The corn fields of Ohio and the rolling grasslands of the United Kingdom are an ocean apart and have little in common. But Cedarville University professor Dr. Glen Duerr will bring the two together by teaching students the British game of cricket.

August 29, 2024 — Making an impact is the focus of a high-powered business conference coming to southwest Ohio in October. The 2024 IMPACT Conference will feature a lineup of prominent speakers, including Dallas Jenkins, television writer, film director, and executive producer of The Chosen.

August 28, 2024 — The Cove, Cedarville University’s academic enrichment center, is celebrating 20 years of service to students. In this time, The Cove has proven to students that it believes in them, and that they can believe in themselves.
