The Federal Pell Grant is evaluated annually based on the student’s (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and their resulting .
The annual Pell Grant amount is determined by:
- The student's
- The student's enrollment intensity at each term's census date (enrollment intensity is a percentage based on enrolled credits with 12 or more equaling 100%)
- The University's Cost of Attendance
For the 2025-26 School year, Pell Grant information will be available in February 2025.

To be eligible for a Pell Grant in the current 2024-25 school year, your FAFSA results must indicate that you meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You are eligible for a Maximum Pell Grant
- You are eligible for a Minimum Pell Grant
- You are eligible for a Pell Grant

The annual Pell Grant award amounts for the current 2024-25 school year are as follows for full-time enrollment (12 or more credits):
- Maximum Pell Grant: $7,395
- Minimum Pell Grant: $740
- The range for all Pell Grants is $740-$7,395. The term amounts for students enrolled part-time at term census will be reduced based on their Pell Enrollment Intensity.
