Cedarville University's Early Assurance Program offers high-achieving high school students the opportunity to secure direct admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program 鈥 before completing undergraduate studies.

Who Is Eligible?
High school students planning to major in pharmaceutical sciences who meet the following recommended criteria:
- Cumulative high school GPA of 3.25 or higher
- College preparatory curriculum
- ACT composite of 23+ or SAT composite of 1130+

Students accepted into the Early Assurance Program receive a renewable scholarship of $5,000 in addition to any other Cedarville undergraduate scholarships.

- You may begin once your final junior-year grades are available
- Undergraduate application opens June 1
2. Declare your major as pharmaceutical sciences
3. Accept your Early Assurance invitation (if offered)
Continuation Requirements
To move from the prepharmacy phase into the PharmD program, you must:
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA each year.
- Earn 鈥淐鈥 or higher in all courses.
- Complete the full prepharmacy curriculum.
- Pass a faculty interview during the final prepharmacy fall semester.

Don鈥檛 Qualify Right Away?
You can still pursue pharmacy at Cedarville:
- Enroll as a pharmaceutical sciences major.
- Work closely with your faculty advisor to prepare for PharmD admission.
- If your spring semester GPA is 3.0+, you may apply to the Early Assurance Program from within Cedarville.
