One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

4 Tips to Make the Most of a College Visit

Campus Visit

With students back on campus, classes in session, and temperatures cooling, fall is a great time to explore Cedarville University. One of the best ways to decide if a college would be a great fit for your student is to visit it. At Cedarville University, we want your student to make the most of their days here, and that starts with their first campus visit.

This fall, we have two CU Friday event days planned: October 10 and November 7. CU Fridays are our most popular visit options and will give you a great overview of everything Cedarville offers!

If you can’t make it to a CU Friday, don’t worry! You can schedule a personalized visit on a day that works for you and your student. We'll create a day just for your family with experiences that fit your student's interests.

Whichever option you choose, you'll want to make the most of your campus visit! Here are four tips from Cedarville's guest services staff to keep you on the right track:

  • Get to know us online before you visit in person. Visit our website or check out Cedarville on , , or . We also have a virtual that lets you experience our beautiful campus from your own home. A little bit of preparation can go a long way to ensuring you feel more comfortable on your visit.
  • Visit when classes are in session. Visiting campus when students are here gives you the true "Cedarville Experience." Student culture is an integral part of who we are! You'll get to experience chapel, a favorite of our students, and attend a class or two.
  • Meet with current students. Our Admissions office is happy to connect you with a Cedarville student during your campus visit! Current students from your student's major of interest can share with you what it's really like to study here. They can also address any questions you have about life outside the classroom.
  • Ask lots of questions! Our knowledgeable tour guides are happy to answer any questions you have about our academics, campus, and community. If you have questions about Cedarville University, your admission counselor, tour guide, and even current students will be happy to answer your questions. No question is a bad question, especially on a campus visit!

The best way to know if Cedarville University is a good fit for your student is to visit. Come on a CU Friday or a personal visit day and see what it would be like to be a Cedarville student. We think your student will be excited to return as a Cedarville Yellow Jacket!
