As students prepare to enter the healthcare industry, the Cedarville University Healthcare Career Fair is equipping them to pursue their callings with confidence, compassion and excellence.
The Healthcare Career Fair will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, in the Stevens Student Center event rooms from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Employers representing a wide range of health care fields — including nursing, pharmacy, allied health and physician assistant programs — will connect undergraduate and graduate students with potential internship and employment opportunities.
Organizations such as Kettering Health, CVS Health Pharmacy, Meijer, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the Ohio Army National Guard will be represented. These groups span hospital systems, health care service providers, medical missions and ministries, graduate programs and military and public service sectors.
“Students preparing for health care careers often face challenges such as navigating clinical placements and credentialing, managing costs, transportation barriers and balancing heavy academic demands,” said Cam Arminio, associate director of Career Services. “Cedarville University’s Career Services aims to help students transition smoothly into the health care industry.”
Career Services offers résumé reviews, mock interviews, LinkedIn coaching and networking workshops — all designed to prepare students for long-term professional success.
“Employers consistently return, citing the professionalism, preparedness and faith-driven work ethic of Cedarville students,” said Arminio. “We hope students continue to build meaningful professional connections, deepen their understanding of the health care industry, discover new opportunities for employment and be encouraged in how their gifts can serve Christ through health care.”
Cedarville’s Healthcare Career Fairs have led to job offers, internships, graduate school interviews and lasting partnerships with organizations across the nation.
