The university鈥檚 Center for the Advancement of Cybersecurity will introduce the Cyber Leadership Development Program (CLDP)in spring 2025. The two-year program, tailored for upperclassmen, focuses on enhancing communication and leadership abilities, equipping students to become multifaceted professionals in the rapidly growing cybersecurity field.

While Cedarville鈥檚 cybersecurity academic program emphasizes technical proficiencies, the CLDP focuses on soft skills essential for career advancement. The program includes leadership exercises, team challenges and speaker events led by Cedarville graduates, some who now work for key partners like the National Security Agency. These opportunities provide students with additional tools to prepare for the challenges of their future career.
Cedarville University鈥檚 Center for the Advancement of Cybersecurity has recently been recognized as No. 1 in Ohio and No. 3 nationally by the highlighting the university鈥檚 role in shaping the future of national security.
