Dr. Bruce Ashford, professor of theology and culture and provost and dean of faculty at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Feb. 2, 2017.
After receiving his bachelor鈥檚 degree from Campbell University in 1996, Ashford spent time teaching English in Russia. After returning to America, he received his master鈥檚 and doctorate degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ashford currently serves as a research fellow at the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, a fellow in theology at the St. George鈥檚 Center for Biblical and Public Theology and is a participant in the Dulles Colloquium of the Institute on Religion & Public Life.
He is the author of 鈥淓very Square Inch: An Introduction to Cultural Engagement for Christians鈥 and 鈥淥ne Nation under God: A Christian Hope for American Politics.鈥
