Student Podcast Technician

Marketing and Communications Student Podcast Technician The Marketing & Communications Division is hiring student workers under the supervision of Creative Services Videographer and Executive Director of Public Relations. Position Responsibilities: - Production and editing of the University podcast and other University related podcasts - Posting of podcast content to distribution channels - Management of podcast content storage - Oversight of equipment during assigned work shift - Other audio/visual related assignments as needed Position Requirements: - Proficient in Adobe Audition Premiere for video podcast editing - Digital sound board operation - Organizational skills - Problem-solver/self-starter mentality - Communicate well with students and university employees - Able to lift 50 lbs This position will have flexible hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm based on student’s schedule and will not exceed 10 hours a week (20 hrs campus wide). There may be times where a student is on-call for events scheduled outside of normal hours. You may not share access to equipment with another student (keys, key cards, passwords) You may not assign others to cover a shift or work in any other capacity for this position All students need to be approved and hired via the Marketing & Communications Division Selection process will include interview and appropriate reference checks with the Department chair and Student Development office.

Student Social Media Videographer

The Marketing & Communications Division is hiring for the position of Student Social Media Videographer who will report to Creative Services Videographer staff. Primary responsibilities will be to serve the efforts of University Social Media video content creation relevant to Instagram Reels and posts to TikTok. Interested students must complete an employment profile and email creative@cedarville.edu. Position Responsibilities: Creative brainstorming, Recording and editing of social media video content, Management of video content storage, Oversight of equipment during assigned work shift, Other related assignments as needed. Position Requirements: Proficient in Adobe Premiere video editing preferred, Familiar with Instagram and TikTok social media platforms, Camera operation, Organizational skills, Problem-solver/self-starter mentality, Communicate well with students and university employees, Able to lift 50 lbs. This position will have flexible hours based on student's schedule and will not exceed 10 hours a week (20 hrs campus wide). There may be times where a student is on-call for events scheduled outside of normal hours. Selection process will include interview and appropriate reference checks with the Department Chair and Student Development Office.
