Circulation Student Assistant

Responsibilities include providing service at the Circulation Desk, maintaining an atmosphere in the Library conducive to study, and helping to maintain the collection. Primary duties involve checking out, renewing, and checking in Library materials, interacting with the University community who use the Library, and shelving Library materials. Work hours are primarily evenings and weekends.

Collection Services Student Assistant

Responsibilities include preparing serials for check-in, shelving serials and newspapers, inspecting book order shipments, and other collection services tasks. Work hours are weekdays before 5:00 p.m.

Curriculum Materials Center Student Assistant

Responsibilities include providing reference assistance for users of the Curriculum Materials Center, shelving materials, assuring materials are in proper order, creating book displays, and assisting with projects. Work hours are primarily evenings and weekends.

Digital Services Student Assistant

Perform computer data entry, scan documents to PDF and extract pages, listen to audio files while editing transcription documents, download and upload files for the Digital Services university online archives in the Centennial Library. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with copier and flatbed scanners desired. Flexible schedule on weekdays during regular business hours (9a-5p).

Digital Services Student Media Assistant

Digitize analog media (VHS, reel-to-reel, vinyl & cassette) for the Digital Services online University archives (located in the Centennial Library). Proficiency with Adobe Media Encoder, Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop required. Training in Elgato video capture software provided. Flexible schedule on weekdays during regular business hours (9a-5p).
