As the academic year draws to a close, Cedarville University students will come together for the grand finale of student life: Elliv2025. This highly anticipated, student-run event is the ultimate celebration of talent, creativity and school spirit, marking the end of the year with an unforgettable night of entertainment. 

Set for April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center, this year鈥檚 Elliv is expected to be bigger than ever, featuring a must-see surprise that student government association events director Alben Augustine describes as 鈥渁 once-in-an-Elliv visual experience.鈥� Augustine, a senior from the United Arab Emirates, will lead the production of the event alongside a team of 12 student directors. 

Elliv is a tradition that unites the Cedarville community through high-energy musical performances, skits, comedy and awards, all curated by students. Each year, the show鈥檚 theme sets the stage for a night filled with excitement and surprises. Beyond the performances, the event also features the annual costume competition, where students coordinate elaborate outfits in hopes of winning first place. Some arrive in formal attire, while some opt for a more relaxed look 鈥� whatever the choice, the atmosphere is one of laughter, creativity, and celebration. 

But Elliv is more than just a showcase of talent 鈥� it is a celebration of every student鈥檚 college journey.

This year鈥檚 show will not only highlight the performers on stage but also reflect on the personal stories of the audience, encouraging students to celebrate their own experiences, friendships and growth throughout the year. 

As the curtains close on another incredible year at Cedarville, Elliv 2025 will leave a lasting impact, reminding students to honor the past, embrace the present and look forward to the future. It鈥檚 a night to celebrate, connect and make history.
