If I were a CU student… I would leave my dorm room door open as much as I could. When I first arrived at Cedarville, I was used to keeping to myself. Choosing to leave my door open for others grew me so much and made living in the dorms an absolute blast. I’d also make the most out of chapel each day. When homework and other activities start picking up, chapel can start to feel like just another thing on your schedule, but it’s such a blessing to worship and hear God’s Word each day in that environment. It was only until I took a gap year that I realized how much I missed chapel during the week, so take advantage of it now!
What is the best restaurant in the area? Tokyo Sushi & Grill in Sugarcreek Township has half-off sushi when you dine in, so you can have a solid amount of sushi without your wallet crying for mercy. Other than that, it’s hard to beat a late-night Taco Bell run with your friends!
What sets CU apart from other colleges and universities? So many things, the first being that the professors are incredibly kind. They aren’t just spitting information at you; they genuinely care about growing you both in knowledge about your field and in your relationship with God. They’re always willing to help and give wisdom on any subject, whether it be academic or personal. The community here is second to none; everywhere you turn, you’ll find another person committed to loving their neighbors and pursuing Christ.

Best place to visit around Cedarville? Columbus has something called the “Columbus Coffee Trail": If you visit four coffee shops around the city, you can earn a T-shirt. Columbus is about an hour from campus, but you can make a day out of drinking good coffee and exploring the city!
Bucket list item? Live and join a church plant somewhere in New England.
