If I were a CU student … I would live in the dorms, join a Bible study, and get involved in campus life in whatever ways I could! I would also take advantage of the days when the weather is beautiful (though that’s a little unpredictable around here!) and walk everywhere I could! I would strive to soak up every single chapel, enjoying some of the best teachers, pastors and authors who come to open God’s Word to us.
What is the best restaurant in the area? I love a good coffee shop or cafe! I think my favorite coffee shop is Un Mundo in downtown Springfield.
What sets CU apart from other colleges and universities? Cedarville’s excellence in being centered around God’s Word and encouraging students to walk with Jesus. This has been the heartbeat of Cedarville for decades and still continues to drive what we do. Even when the culture of our world shifts, the University is faithful to the truth of the unchanging Word of God, and that is pretty special.
Hometown? West Liberty, Ohio
Degree? BA in comprehensive Bible
Best place to visit around Cedarville? I think John Bryan/Clifton Gorge is pretty amazing! Every time I go, I feel like I am in awe of God’s creativity, and it's so close by. A hidden gem!
Bucket list item: I think serving on an international mission trip with my husband and four kids would be my go-to here! We have several friends serving all over the world, so it would be really neat to connect with their families where they have invested and served for many years!
