Dr. Barnhart received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Cedarville University School of Pharmacy. Following graduation, he completed a PGY-1 residency at Baptist Hospital of Miami and a PGY-2 oncology pharmacy residency at the Miami Cancer Institute. His residency training focused on hematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant, investigational drug services, survivorship, and oncology pharmacy operations.
Dr. Barnhart’s professional journey includes experiences in oncology research, patient counseling, and clinical practice across multiple disease states. He has been actively involved in quality improvement projects, protocol development, and scholarly work addressing venous thromboembolism prophylaxis and oncology supplementation.
As both a practitioner and researcher, Dr. Barnhart is committed to advancing oncology pharmacy practice while mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. His clinical and academic pursuits reflect his passion for patient-centered care and faith-informed scholarship.
