Biography

Joined Cedarville University in December of 2025.  Began my medical career as a combat medic driving ambulances for a M.A.S.H unit in Virginia.  From there I attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine.  After graduating medical school my wife and I began our residency at Aultman Family Practice in Canton Ohio.  While in clinical practice my wife and I were involved in numerous short term medical missions around the world, most notably in Benin West Africa.  We felt the call to full time missions in 2016 where we moved to Dominica in the West Indies.  We moved from Dominica, to Barbados, to Antigua where I taught in medical schools while sharing the gospel with students from around the world as well as being actively involved in local churches.

    Expert Topics

Being a family practitioner for over 20 years I do not see myself as an 'expert' in any particular field of study.  What I do have is an understanding of a wide range of topics.  The areas of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma, and depression are of particular interest to me.  My interest in counseling has lead to further certification in Biblical Counseling through ACBC.  Having taught in medical education full time, off and on since 2016, I have an aptitude for small group sessions, simulation training, and physical exam skills sessions.

    Why Cedarville?

The testimony and reputation of Cedarville University is well known to me from living in the Columbus Ohio area for over 20 years.  Some of my closest friends are graduates from CU.  God's Word being the foundation for everything at Cedarville is of the utmost importance.  Being able to teach medicine from a Christian World View allows us to address both the 'inner man' and the 'outer man' in a truly wholistic approach.
