Students With a Heart to Serve
Global Outreach (GO) teams from Cedarville University took spring break as an opportunity to serve in 19 communities across the U.S. and internationally, bringing together 335 students, faculty and staff in a wide range of mission-driven efforts. -
"Scripture and Scrubs” Encourages Christian Health Care Workers
While health care scholars are asking if religion can help reduce health care burnout, Cedarville University’s Dr. Michael Sherr, professor of social work, believes it can. Sherr, co-author of “Scriptures and Scrubs: A Christian Calling to Healthcare,” addresses in the book how a Christian health care worker can combat burnout by staying centered on biblical truths.
