About the Biblical Counseling Program
Why Study Biblical Counseling at Cedarville?
If you have a heart for people and a desire to help them heal and grow, Cedarville University's online Biblical Counseling program, one of four concentrations under the Master of Theological Studies, will equip you with the methodology and skills to provide faithful biblical counseling to individuals, couples, and families in a church, ministry, or missions setting.

Cedarville's Biblical Counseling program will equip you to minister God's Word into life's most difficult moments, whether that's counseling in a ministry context or creating a culture of care within your church community.
This 36-credit hour program 鈥 including 15 hours of core Bible and theology courses and 21 hours dedicated to your biblical counseling training 鈥 is offered in a convenient, fully online format and can be completed in as little as one calendar year. You can choose to take classes part time to fit your personal schedule. A limited number of in-class delivery courses may also be available. The program is highly flexible and affordable.
