About the BA in Middle Childhood Education Degree
Why Study Middle Childhood Education at Cedarville?
Prepare to enter the classroom as a compassionate teacher who inspires the next generation, challenging your students to think deeply and further their learning. With Cedarville’s distinctly Christian, accredited middle childhood education major, you will be equipped to teach grades 4–9 in both Christian and public schools. You'll choose two areas of concentration from science, mathematics, social studies, and English.
Whichever concentrations you choose, you'll gain practical training through core courses like Teaching Diverse Learners and Principles of Teaching Middle School. Throughout your studies, your learning will be enriched by plenty of firsthand experience in the classroom, allowing you to apply your knowledge directly in a school setting. When you graduate, you'll be ready to teach with excellence and impact both your students and colleagues for Christ.
